Round Man beer in a Round Man beer glass

Round Man Gives A Damn.

As an organization, we proudly stand by the community we live in, the guests we serve, and the industry we love. We fight daily to use our small piece of influence to improve the lives of others. It is with this foundation that we have established our purpose. Whether through one of our community outreach events or through the lengths we go through to provide for those that we employ.

Back Alley Sally

Back Alley Sally

Pilsner

Our lightest beer. Created for those just beginning their craft beer venture. Sassy, light, fun and drinkable. Maybe a splash of promiscuity.

J.T. Murphy

J.T. Murphy

Irish Stout

James T. Murphy was a successful merchant, a railroad man and school board clerk; a all-around, community-driven fellow. In 1897, our dear friend JT got off the train for the last time and erected the very building Round Man Brewing Co. occupies today. Originally built as a grocery store, JT took his vision far beyond that, stocking dry goods, footwear, flour, feed, and gentleman’s furnishings. We sought to craft a beer as rich in character and boldness as a man of his stature certainly held. Our Irish Stout is lightweight, drinkable, and has enough unblemished flavor to leave you wanting just one more. A dark beer built for dark beer drinkers. Cheers, Mr. Murphy - this one is for you!

KBO

KBO

Cream Ale

Despite the alcohol, despite the naps, despite the baths, Winston Churchill was a work horse. It is reported that at the start of his day and at the end of every phone conversation he would exclaim KBO, or "keep buggering on." The cream ale is a lighter brew with a lower ABV and tons of flavor, that despite the long hours of work will keep you buggering on.

Log Chain

Log Chain

American Lager

A tribute to the long history of logging in Northwest Wisconsin, and to the incredible hard-working men and women who continue to provide us with warm fires, strong houses and beautiful breweries. Our Log Chain All-American Lager has a clean, golden hue, a bready body & a crisp finish.

Rhapsody

Rhapsody

Bohemian Lager

Light and complex...our Bohemian Lager sings a song of joy and flavor. Offering a dark golden color, a slightly sweet, complex malty flavor, & a light hop profile.

Mortified

Mortified

Pale Ale

Affectionately named after the patriarch of the Dahl family, Mort Dahl, who the Churchill's bought the building from. Mort and his family owned this building for 87 years. The pale ale is full of flavor, robust and drinkable.

Smoke in the EyePA

Smoke in the EyePA

Classic IPA

A classic IPA that stays true to the originality of the beer style. As IPAs have grown in popularity, many have created impressive and creative brews. However, this is an IPA true to its name. The old style. No frills. Full of character and body. Great for drinking by the fire where one might catch a little smoke in the eye.

Red Right Hand

Red Right Hand

Traditional Irish Red Ale

This full bodied malt beverage carries with it the strength and tenacity fitting of the Round Man name. Brewed with absolute Irish authenticity, the mysterious Red Right Hand boasts a deep red color with a crisp, refreshing, malt-forward taste. When our brewer was asked to describe the taste of this beer - after a brief and thoughtful pause - he proclaimed “It tastes like another!”

Hoppa

Hoppa

Hazy Imperial Pale Ale

Aside from a damn cool new logo, the Hoppa will certainly be your new favorite. Packed full with a brand new, proprietary hop, we're low on bitterness and high on those beautiful tropical and citrus notes!

Omaha X

Omaha X

Imperial IPA

Our strongest IPA. A hophead's delight. Bitter and strong. The City of Spooner, in Washburn County, Wisconsin, was once a major hub of railroad activity in the northwestern "Indianhead Country" of the state. Spooner was at the intersection of "the Great Omaha X" of the Chicago, St. Paul, Minneapolis and Omaha Railroad. Four original rail lines, completed by 1883, made up the "X."

Mud Duck

Mud Duck

Oreo Milkshake Stout

Who doesn't love Oreos & Milk? Who doesn't love beer? We've combined our favorites to create a perfectly sweet treat with a kick!

To our fellow transplants from the west, this brew is for you! Our Mud Duck Oreo Milkshake Stout is thick, rich and full of sweet MN personality....

Ha-Spoonah Colada

Ha-Spoonah Colada

Hazy IPA

It's back and better than ever! Re-introducing our crowd favorite: Ha-Spoonah Colada Hazy IPA!

This sweet & juicy Hazy IPA is filled with notes of pineapple & coconut to make it the perfect summertime beer.

Hwy 63 Kolsh

Hwy 63 Kolsh

German-Style Kolsch

Our German-Style Kolsch is light in color & malt character, accompanied by a slightly dry, crisp finish.
Notes: Light, refreshing, slightly dry, and crisp
Hops: Liberty and Saaz
Yeast: White Labs WLP 029
Story: HWY 63 German-Style Kolsch is the result of a collaboration with our great friend and musician Chad Kostner and shares a name with his song and album! Kolsch is Chad’s favorite style so adding it to our growing family of fantastic craft beers was a no brainer! Thanks Chad!

Mega Pint Amber Ale

Mega Pint Amber Ale

Amber Ale

Our MEGA PINT Amber Ale is beautifully ambered and hopped in the classic style of an American Amber. Easy drinking with deep, rich colors and a pleasant, slightly bitter finish.
Notes: Classic, deep and slightly bitter
Hops: Centennial, Amarillo and Cascade
Yeast: US-05 Ale Yeast
Story: In 2022, a certain particularly famous celebrity (think drunk, goofy pirate) went through a very public and messy divorce court case during which he was accused of enjoying a “MEGA PINT” of wine.
We found this extremely humorous and, naturally, found a name for our hugely popular “Mega Pint” Amber Ale! Enjoy.

Beer on Tap

We like beer.
You're here because you like beer too.

Round Man Brewing Co. is a full-service brewery with over 14 brews available on tap year-round. Our brewmaster and mad scientist, Brian, enjoys constantly improving and mixing it up often. Stay alert! Check them out or better yet - stop in and have a taste for yourself.

Taproom

Round Man Brewing Co. isn’t your typical taproom. Family-owned and operated in historic downtown Spooner, Wisconsin, the industrial elegance of Round Man delivers an upscale experience with down-home people. When you visit Round Man, you are welcome to enjoy the poured concrete winding bar for a pint and conversation or treat your friends and family to our full-service restaurant. We have a chef’s room for larger parties to enjoy a more intimate setting and a parlor room that can accommodate well over 50 people.

The exposed brick, low lighting and personal touches deliver an ambience unlike any other in the area. We invite you to come in and get cozy. Life is better when it is shared and we couldn’t think of anyone else we would rather share it with.
